What you send us through the form

The contact form asks for your name, a way to reach you, and a description of your floor. We use those to answer you and to work out what your job involves. Nothing more.

A submission goes to us. We do not sell it, we do not trade it, and we do not pass it to anyone who is not working on answering your enquiry.

The form also carries a hidden field that is not shown to you and should always arrive empty. It exists to catch automated submissions, and it collects nothing about you.

Analytics

Flooring Masters uses Google Analytics to understand how this website is found and used. It records the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, the kind of device and browser you use, and how you arrived. It also records that an enquiry form was submitted, so we know which pages lead to enquiries. It sets cookies to do that.

It does not record your name, your phone number, your email address or anything you type into the enquiry form. Those go to us and only to us, and are never sent to Google. Advertising features and cross-site tracking are switched off.

Google may process this data outside your country. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Any browser setting or extension that blocks analytics also works, and blocking it does not affect the enquiry form or anything else on this site.

The map in the footer

Every page carries a map in the footer showing where this business is listed. It is embedded from Google Maps, and it loads only when the page has finished loading the content you came for.

When it loads, Google receives the request that serves the map, in the same way it would if you opened a map on any other website. We do not receive anything from it and we do not use it to identify you.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own for advertising, profiling or tracking you across other websites.

The analytics described above sets its own cookies to tell a returning visit from a new one. Your browser can block or delete those at any time, and the site works normally without them.

How long anything is kept

An enquiry is kept while we are dealing with it and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can pick up a conversation if you come back to us about the same floor.

Analytics data is retained by the analytics provider under its own retention period rather than by us.
